The other post is a good way of doing it. I did mine but I took the throttle body out entriely. Here's how.
1. Take of the plastic cover of the throttle body.
2. Disconnect the air pipe with a flathead screwdriver.
3. Disconnect the sensor.
4. There are three bolts that connect the trottle body. They can be removed easily.
5. One end of the throttle body rod is round and is covered by rubbber (or not). Anyway, using a fltahead screwdriver, get as close to the round part, put the screwdriver underneath the rod and pop it up. It should not take too much force to do this.
6. After you have the throttle body off, you can use a throttle body cleaner (make sure the cleaner says it is safe for throttle body and fuel injectors. To clean the brass butterfly plate, use a toothbrush.
7. While you are here, you should replace the liner (a new one from Vovlo costs $3-5.)
8. To put it all back together, follow the directions backwards.
