in addition to the Torx screw behind the plug in the door handle, you need to remove the trim piece by the mirror. It just pulls out. Also, I found a putty knife protected with masking tape is helpful. Buy a handful of the plastic fasteners, you'll break a couple, they're designed to break rather than the door panel.
