A friend of mine wrecked his 97 M3 on I-5 up here in Oregon during a rather harsh rain. He managed to spin three full times and ended up (fortunately) resting against the guard rail. Of course his was entirely self-inflicted; never use cruise control when there's standing water on the road, especially a freeway. I'm sure the subliminal message that a Volvo provides to its owners sinks in, or at least we figure that we'd like to keep our cars intact and drive smartly.
