Hi Kevin,

To date I have no problem with the in-dash radio/cassette/CD player. However it is a very easy Radio to remove. There are 2 tabs located on the lower sides of the Radio, one Tab on each edge of the Radio Face-Plate. Take your Car key and push the Tab in and release the Tab. What will happen is the Tab will pop out. Next insert your fingers into the hole in the Tab and pull. What you now have is a Volvo Radio removed from the Dash. Remove the Power/Speaker cable and the Antenna cable and your radio has been removed from the car.

You will note on the back of the radio who Manufacture the radio. Go to your Yellow Pages and fine a suitable repairperson for that manufacture of Car Radio. Or if you are a really bold person remove the cover and see if there is something obvious that is causing your CD player from accepting a CD.

Of course if you are still under warranty then take it back to the Dealer. Volvo warranty covers the Radio (that is take the car back to the Dealer).
