Central Locking and Dead Locks etc 850 1997

Just got 'new' car
1997 855 GLT 2.5 20v

It has a key fob that has lock / unlock button. - I used to have 1994 855SE and operated the deadlocks by turning the key a little extra bit.

can anyone help - when I click the remote once and the car locks, are the deadlocks engaged.

Thanks for your help.

(1997 GLT has all the extras - Tracs, Aircon,computer, cruise, elec roof, etc etc.) very pleased as my 1994 was written off in a BIG accident - all OK though !)
