My experience with the DRL setup on a 1996 855 Turbo (Canadian) is all lamps illuminate when the car is running, as if the headlamp switch were on. The feature automatically lights all running lamps (Canadian law) when the engine is running as is a safety feature afforded the rest of us, which is defeated by "turning the little screw" on the non-Canadians, and by sliding the switch on the rear of the light switch of Canadian delivery cars. It is an all or none at all proposition ole' chap.
