I would be picky as heck. I restored first-gen firebirds and other pontiacs for years (before wising up to volvos!) and I would NEVER tollerate that type of work. I know what body shops are and aren't capable off. Replacing the bumper and making sure it is bolted all the way down, thats pretty simple and if they couldn't do that, then I would worry about alot of other things.
Though, my dealer replaced the drip molding that runs along the windshield on mine (got bent somehow) and they didn't get it clipped back in right and about half way home the wind caught it, and rebent it. I don't want to drive an s40 rental again for the weekend! So they better fix it right this time!
