Are these no-starts occuring shortly after the car has been started and stopped shortly afterwards? A known problem with the 850 is, if the car is started and stopped shortly after being started, i.e. less than a minute, it is difficult to restart for the next little while. Why? Because the Volvo ECU sets itself up in a loop mode during start up spraying lots of fuel. And because the engine was not allowed to warm up, the next time you try to start the car shortly afterwards, the sensors detect a cold engine, and enter the cold engine start up loop. This causes flooding.
