Crash test data 850 1995

i don't know many sites with crash test results. but...i often look at suvs and see their bumpers coming right up to my shoulders when i'm sitting in my wagon. just "feels" like if he were to t-bone me, i'd be in more damage than he would (almost bumper against window). turn it around, i'd have to think i'm hitting a structural beam somewhere in the door. also...they're so much heavier...try running and hitting or taking down a nfl linemen (or rugby player for non-u.s. folks =). assuming u and i are "average" men, that's not gonna happen.. we'll probably bounce off with little movement for him. no doubt all that bulk helps a little.

then again, i side track. given a volvo or suv? i'd take a volvo anyday. our cars are so much more nimble, and less susceptible to flips...weight has it's downsides too...u just can't slow down fast enough. my 2 cents
