How to remove plastick fan? 850

HI!
I need to replace a blower motor on my 854T. I want to know if anybody can give me an idea how to remove blower fan blades (squirrel cage) from the old unit SAFELY? It stuck to the shaft pretty hard and I am afraid to break plastic fan.Thanks!!
