Mi ECU es su ECU, IPD vs. SAM S70 1998

Amanda-

I had the same concerns as you did. The only problem with accepting an ECU is the hardware. If you decide to purchase one from IPD inspect the prongs and exterior case. If it's in good condition, it' likely to last. However, the internal hardware is difficult to inspect, so you really never know...

From what I understand, the ECU is entirely reprogramed with software from IPD or SAM. One thing you may want to consider when purchasing is the customer service aspect. IPD is known for standing behind their product and they provide excellent customer service with great techs. Their prices may be higher, but you pay for what you get.

I purchased the ECU upgrade last week from IPD and I'm completly satisified with the peformance and customer service. Good luck with your decision and happy driving.
