Service light question? 850 1995

this light comes on for 2 min after 12000 miles to remind you to take your 850 to the Volvo dealer for oil change after which they will reset the light. bay13 has instructions on how to reset the light yourself. you don't need any tools since 95s have own diagnostic unit on the pass. side behind the headlight. this 'service " light doesnot produce any codes
