Tire selection question... C70

I have a 1998 C70 with the 18" wheel option. The car came with PZero Asymmetrico's (245-40 ZR-18) and I am at the end of the second set - they lasted 25,000mi. I was wondering if anyone had a suggestion for a cheaper tire option such as the Sumitomo's or Kumho's. TireRack has the PZero's at $215, the Kumho's at $125 and the Sumi's at $135. The Sumitomo's supposedly are great performers with better-than-PZero treadwear (info obtained from reading reviews posted on TireRack.com). Additionally, will a slightly larger tire fit in the wheel wells? 255-40? 265-40? Does anyone have any experience with this? The PZero's have a large footprint and have a larger contact patch than, say, the P7000's at the same size. Hence my question about a larger tire size. I would like a similar contact patch to the PZero at 245-40.

Sooo...to sum up my ramblings ;)

Has anyone had any experience with a cheaper tire on the C70 such as the Sumitomo's.

Has anyone placed a larger tire on the 18" wheel C70 and if so, what size was it and what were your results?
