Reverse gear problem S40-V40 1997

My 1.8 V40 suffers from reverse gear "crunching" when engaging on cold mornings. It is like the clutch is not fully disengaging, if I select a forward gear for a few seconds and then reverse, this helps sometimes? I have changed the gearbox oil and bleed the clutch but still not perfect. The car has only just done 40,000 miles and can't belive the clutch has gone. Any idea's.
