Flame trap trouble? 850 1997

I searched pretty thoroughly for the bulletin, couldn't find it, & I'm not sure he's right. Each model year is different, and at least knowing about it & servicing it should be enough. There is a lot of talk about older models with metal traps, & with my '87 240 it never came up [I'm going to check it though]
