David S,
If snow is NOT a problem that you faced, then go with the Pirelli P6000 Sport Velocites. Excellent tire for wet- & dry-roads. It also improves the braking too.
I have been running a set of P195/60VR15 Pirelli P6000 Sport Velocites on my 1998 Volvo S70 GLE sedan for the last 2 to 3 years, and have been extremely happy with its performance, except when the 1st snowfall falls.
If you have P195/60R15, the other tires you could tried is:
1) Bridgestone Potenza RE950 - When my Pirelli wears out, I will replaced them
with a set of these, as the report on Tire Rack
states that they are better in the snow than my
Pirelli P6000 Sport Velocites
2) Toyo Proxes H4
Hope that helps,
------
