Cruise Control Doesnt Work 850 1993

Mine stopped working when the switch on the brake peddle broke from its harness This caused the switch to be in the disengage mode, cost me $15.00 for a new switch from Volvo and fitted it my self the dealer told me this is a common breakage due to the plastic clips in use are under strain.

This could be one place to start looking for a problem
