The 1996/97 850 use a two button remote with one large button labelled "Lock/panic" at the top and a smaller button in the center labelled "unlock". It is about 1 3/4 " high and about 1" wide. There are several different remotes so make sure you get this one. They are usually available on ebay for around $35-40. They are very easy to program and you can do it yourself (instructions in vehicle handbook). If you have any difficulty email me and I will take you through it or go to the archives and pull up the instructions.
