Steve,

Yes, it's easy.

And yes, you have to use connectors to tap into the turn signal wiring. If you bought the installation kit from IPD, all is included. You can wire the repeaters to either be on when the lights are on or on only when the signal is engaged.

The easiest way to remove the adhesive is with WD-40 and a SOFT cloth. Don't use anything harsh or the scratches created will be amplified by the light of the repeaters (ask me how I know).
