A850rGuy,

Before I write-you-off as a kook (just jokin'), give us a little more to work with.

You said that "when I close any door it causes the latches to squeak on the hood."

Is the hood open when you are closing "any door"?

If the hood is not open, how do you know it is the hood latches that are making the squeak?

This is a crazy problem--tell us more.
