The fuel pump on my V70 is starting to lose pressure when the engine is off which results in more cranking to start it up.
Volvo no longer makes a replacement fuel pump and I'm looking for the best quality aftermarket one I can find. Any suggestions on a good quality brand? It's a lot of work to replace the fuel pump on an AWD and I don't want to do it twice!
There are some references online for the following being a good pump:
https://www.amazon.com/Walbro-GCA761-2-Fuel-Pump-Installation/dp/B001N1Y394/ref=sr_1_5?crid=1PQNCXUN9L1QP&keywords=GCA761-2&qid=1674105635&sprefix=gca761-2%2Caps%2C133&sr=8-5&ufe=app_do%3Aamzn1.fos.18ed3cb5-28d5-4975-8bc7-93deae8f9840
but it looks to be just the pump part and not the rest of the assembly. I suppose I could use this to rebuild the fuel pump assembly I have now but I wonder if the backflow valve (which is failing on my current unit) is integral to the pump itself or an external component that I would need to source as well.
