Yes, I copy/pasted the title of Erwin's recent post because damned if it doesn't fit.
The Life Partner's 2015 XC60T6 had those very same symptoms this morning mileage and all. I limped it home, pulled plugs, none looked very good (the car burns oil like it's its job), including some missing insulator on #3. But #2 was sooty and black, no white at all.
I reinstalled the old plugs I had saved and swapped the #1 and #2 coils hoping the problem would migrate with it. Alas it did not.
Remove all plugs, check compression on #2. Nada. Plenty on #1, nothing in the #2 hole...
Have the springs and tie rod ends waiting to install (I went the cheap route and got a pair of aftermarket) but it looks like we'll trade it in tomorrow at our local indie mechanic/Volvo-only used car dealer, Eurocars Plus in Groton. They're a week out on diagnostics and their engine mechanic is booked for the next two months. I won't go to the dealer for major engine work and I'm not about to tackle a head job myself.
