Agreed. Yet for all the reasons he decants his disdainful social commentary about that 1997 850 with M56 and no Turbo is why I want one more so.

Maybe the regular car reviews guy is making comedy more so than reviewing the so called regular cars? I dunno. I enjoy his reviews.

I helped an owner with t-belt and water pump replacement. A tight squeeze for my fat hands, yet we got it. Not so bad. Also replaced a motor mount or to. It was an auto 85-86 850.

Yet want a garage first. Had a chance for a white 2001-2002 FWD S60 with 5-speed gearbox and low miles in Saint Louis for cheap in 2004 or so. Sort of regretting it now. Base model S60. Grey cloth seats and carpet and dark grey console and dash. A short test drive in heavy traffic on Manchester Road in west Saint Louis county and I did not realize what S60 was about. I liked the gear box. Far less testy then M47 II in 240. Of the three 240s two M47 have been abused. The 1991 240 M47 II is quite okay. Yet I drive gently, usually. Rotten roads here.
