front struts replacement for 2012 Volvo XC70 (P3 series) V70-XC70 2012

Does anyone have experience doing the front struts on a P3 Series Volvo XC70? The upper access point has now been moved closer to the firewall and is under the black plastic.

Looking for direction on doing this. Thanks.
