I only have reference to an 850 seat, and that is a no go. The SIPS tube (passive) is elongated on the outboard side. The seatbelt and it's anchor would have to be transferred. So, no.
But, the seat skin for the bottom can be swapped. And while the seat is out, you can investigate why the seat heater doesn't work, usually a broken wire under the seat.
If you remove the seats, you may not put the key in the ignition. If the key is turned to on, the SRS light will turn on and never turn off. Best bet is to unhook the battery.
