Convertible top tonneau cover stuck opened. C70

My 2000 C70 was doing its thing, then it detached from the front windshield and lifted a few inches as per normal. Then nothing.

The button won't light up. Everything else is working fine.

I now cannot open the trunk to manually operate the roof.

Anyone have any suggestions?
