There are rumors that the battery only lasts 4-5 years. Not really a 'problem' except for station wagons where the battery is in the rear, and you cannot raise the tailgate to gain access without electricity. Oh, BTW, the glovebox cannot be opened without a battery charge!

That explains why I couldn't find an oil dipstick in the 2017 XC90!
