Too late but I'm curious. The car was in the shop today and they found two things with the AC. First, it was down to half a pound of refrigerant when about 1.5 lbs is needed. They charged it but the compressor still wouldn't come on.
Tracing the circuit the tech found a blown 15A fuse in an engine management circuit. Replacing that brought the AC back online! So, I'm very curious now to scan and if the MAF signals are being read since it was an engine management circuit at fault.
I will certainly let you know. If it did fix the MAF issue I'll just return the unit I ordered, or keep it for a spare.
