Here is a 'fix' for a hard shift problem, read the description. Probably not for your cars:

There is a software 'fix' for the stop light, low rpm, from the factory. The dealer can tell you if it has been applied to your cars.

Also check the ATF for color as you might want to flush it with new 3309 fluid.
