My new to me 2005 XC 70 just started a no start/stall situation. I just had the timing belt water pump and all PVC parts changed. It had the typical oil dripping from pvc trap puddling oil in one spark plug well. All was cleaned and both exhaust and intake cam actuators were replaced along with cam seals and crank seal.
After driving about 70 miles after t-belt change, I noticed a slight hesitation, but was not sure if my mind was playing tricks, then after work it would not stay running and proceeded to stall restart several times - AAA came and took the car back to my repair shop - only 3/4 mile away (could not get it to crawl there).
This is my first Volvo with the electronic ETM - which I suspect or the MAF sensor? Could be the classic case of old parts rejecting new parts??
A bit worried that the garage got the timing wrong during the timing belt change, but that might be jumping the gun prematurely with a diagnosis.
