OK, can that explain why my speakers are making noise when I turn the ignition on? It sounds like an electric 'crack' sometimes. Is it a bad sensor/wiring or is it an electrical problem such as bad grounding etc?

I haven't really made any major electrical interference on the car, only a pair of 55W auxiliary lamps and a pair of halogen back-up bulbs.

What is there to do about it? Is it a serious problem?
