I wonder how they're so certain. Were there codes pointing to the module?
Are there codes now?

There's lots of things that can cause that problem... some simple,
clogged fuel filter, vacuum leak etc., Maybe the car sat too long and
needs a ride on an interstate.

I'd go for another opinion.
