ETM swap from non turbo to turbo S-60?

I have an 01 s-60 with turbo and it needs the ETM replaced, a friend is offering a known good ETM from a non turbo s-60, does anyone know if it will work on the turbo car? I have someone with the software to program my replacement but I don't want to waste his time if this ETM will not work for this car.
Any thoughts greatly appreciated.
