As you can see Kelley Blue Book recongizes the TLA for 1996 but N.A.D.A does not. Also not that N.A.D.A has different model numbers from the Blue Book for some years! After see the printed results in these published guides I am very skeptical of the N.A.D.A. data.
I think the answer really lies in the VIN numbers and maybe it goes beyond the basic model number of LW572 to the next 3 digits. In the case of my car it would be "7T2". I know the "T" stands for 1996 but what do the other two digits represent? Does anyone have a breakdown of the entire VIN number skeem?
