The damper slow to respond error can be rectified with some silicon spray. The recirc damper is behind the glove box, which has to come out anyway to remove the passenger side kick panel. I used to just move the recirc switch a few times to clear the error until I got the glove box off for a new blower motor.


While you are playing around, remove the cabin temp sensor and clean the dust bunnies out of it. The sensor is the last switch plate just to the left of the radio.
