Re: Torque Steer? ALL

Sounds more like the power on the front tires makes them follow any irregularities and ruts in the road much more pronounced.

As Ray already said, it doesn't have that much power to really induce torque-steer (which is much more a constant pull to one side under power) and even then it's often the way in which the road is constructed (run-off to one side).

Of course it is an FWD car with lots of torque, so you will feel the power-transfer in the steering wheel, especially when cornering. Keeping a good grip on the wheel is advisable when gunning it.

I personally like the feedback. Feedback is good. Makes you feel what's happening to your wheels and traction on the road surface you're going across.

My T4 with limited-slip diff tracks absolutely straight under full power, but *only* on a smooth road. Any ruts will immediately throw it off course. Running on 215/40R17 doesn't really help to decrease that effect :-)

Bye, Arno.
