S60 Control Arm Bushings S60 2001

S60 involved in front-end collision. Did not trigger airbags. I had body repaired, but when I had the wheels aligned, found out that the control arm bushings were bad. Would this be a result of the collision? I don't think I've had any bushing issues on any of my other collisions.
