CD changer doesn`t work 850 1995

Hi,

I just bought a cd changer from the dealer. It is the one on special from volvo that goes in the glovebox. I just installed itr and it doen`t work. the cables are all hooked up and when i press the CD button nothing happens. the radio model is SC 811. If anyone has any ideas it would be greatly appriciated.
