Many thanks Klaus and BigRiver, (I knew you would come through Klaus!)
Yesterday I took the car to my Volvo mechanic mate and he drained the tranny and filled with new fluid.
He said that the draining will only ever remove about half of the fluid. So several flushes over a short period of time are needed?
I have had good success with Lucas products in the past, especially their Power Steering Stop Leak so I have added a bottle of Lucas Transmission Fix to see if that helps.
Will definitely chase up the software upgrades and the Penrite product.
Thanks again guys and you know where I am Klaus if you are ever down this way.
