Were you towing another car at the same time or something?!

I had my 94' 855T timed with a radar gun (Metropolitan Toronto Police issue) on a test track last summer. My worst time of the day was 7.7. My best time ever was a 7.1, done with the torque convertor loading method. My average after over 20 runs was around 7.25. The 7.7 was my first run of the day, and from a dead stop, with no torque convertor loading. My car ran this absolutely bone stock except for the R front spoiler (maybe aerodynamics?), my sound system in place (about $3500 Canadian worth), AMSOIL in the engine and tranny, about 50 litres of gas, just me in the car (I weigh about 200lbs), no HVAC or accessory activity, all windows and sun roof closed and with Toyo T1-S tires on the 16" Turbo rims.

I got my time by having someone signal go, while timing, and another person directly behind my car with the radar gun. It was calibrated before and after and was well within specs.

As you can see, the torque loading method makes a big difference. I also tried to keep the tires as hot as possible. I did mini burn outs if the car wasn't run after a while.

I fully intend on timing my car this summer at a drag strip. I intend on leaving everything in the car. I will be running a PES/GIAC chip, with a 3" downpipe -> 3":2.5" cat -> 2.5" cat-back (probably Ferrita), open element air filter intake, and premium gas (94 octane). I promise to post as soon as I can. I have a scanner, so I might scan the slip. The problem is, the scanner doesn't come with a driver for Window's 2000, which is the OS I am running right now.
