Stalling? S40-V40 2001

Here's a strange one. Last night, after driving for about 30 min in light traffic, I made a hard (sharp) left turn at about 20-25kph (15mph) and the engine just died about 3/4 into the turn. I coasted to a stop and turned everything off. I then restarted it without problems except for a rough idle for a few seconds. Haven't had any problems this morning but I couldn't try the same maneuver again because of snow. Any ideas?
