Because my parents' '98 V70 recently hit 100k, I have been going through the car and replacing little odds and ends-as well as the big stuff (including entire PCV system, suspension, steering, fuel pump, etc.).

Today, because I had some time on my hands, I went ahead and replaced the purge valve filter (9186744)-as well as the fuel vapor line (976736) which goes from the purge valve to the filter, and from the bottom of the filter to the hard plastic line.

The filter, and line, looked fine, but since they gave fourteen years of service I figured it was fine time to replace them.
