Many Issues S80 2001

If you have electronic climate control and it blower is in auto mode, the 'heat' should not start until the engine is starting to warm up - usually about 1 mile of driving. The ECC will not start the heat IF the sun is shining on the dash and the inside temp is above 65F or so. Look for a small grill like cutout in the dash, a few horizontal slits, and using a vacuum cleaner suck the dirt out of the cabin temp sensor.

The cabin blower will turn on if you have had the AC on. The blower will run for a while to remove the moisture from the evaporator, this is normal and a better alternative to replacing the evaporator when the corrosion from the water pokes a hole in your system.

The engine fan comes on to cool the radiator. It probably should not 'run' for 30 minutes, but it will run at high speed until the engine cools off OR the battery gets down to 12V. This is normal, especially if the AC has been running and the condenser in front of the radiator is hot.
