Hi,
I am a new Volvo owner and I thought I'd throw this out to the board before visiting my dealer.
I bought 2001 T5 with the geartronic transmission and 5400 miles about a month ago. Over this time, I've noticed that when I make frequent speed changes such as rolling stops, the tranny doesn't seem downshift quick enough. This results in a delay before the tranny catches when I step on the accelerator again. Is this normal or can this be adjusted? It doesn't happen when it's in the manual shift mode.
Also, the plastic covering on the pillars between the front and rear doors makes an irritating squeak when driving on rough roads. If I press on the plastic it stops. Anyone know of a more elegant solution?
