Rear-door lock won't lock or unlock electronically S70 1998

I don't know if it's the cold weather, but all of a sudden the rear passenger side door lock will not lock or unlock with the remote or the button on the driver door.

When we lock all the doors, the rear door doesn't lock but the car thinks that all the doors are locked because when we open the rear door to manually push down the lock, the opening of the door sets off the alarm.

This is a pain. Anyone know what can be done? Do I need to bring it to the dealership to be fixed?
