MPG display reading not changing S80 1999

Volvo S80,1999, non turbo
CEL Codes P0036 and P0136, Display reading "11.9 MPG"
Changed 02 sensor
No codes; but, "average MPG" display still reads "11.9 MPG"
How long does it take for the "average MPG" to change?
Much appreciation for any help
