Hello,

Minor issue in my 02 S60 T5: the "control rings" (that's what they're called in the owner's manual) on the light and wiper levers work very inconsistently! The left one, for instance, which controls the info display on the dash, skips or repeats screens as I rotate it. The right control ring, which controls the intermittent speed of the wipers, will sometimes switch to the quickest speed, even when I set it on the slowest.

I'm guessing the contacts need to be cleaned or something. Has anybody else had this issue? Any good how-tos on fixing it?

Also, I'll be replacing my front brake pads soon. Anything to keep in mind? Special tools required? Computers to consider? Etc.
