How My ECT Read... C70 2000

There is only one coolant temp sensor, the ECU and gauge both use it. I don't think I have ever seen a failed gauge, but lots of ECT sensors going bad.

The gauge will (supposed to) only go towards hot when the coolant is REALLY hot and probably too late to help. When it moves, it will almost jump to the red.

This is when I like my old technologically inept 220. You even know when the thermostat opens.
