New V70 D5 - Electrical Problem V70-XC70 2011

Hi All,

So I decided to purchase my first Volvo. A new V70 D5.

400 miles in the 'Engine Coolant is Low' warning comes on. 30 sec later it goes off.... I check the coolant. All fine. Weird I thought.

About 200 miles later, I park my car one day only to come back and find it won't unlock. I get in via the tailgate. The engine starts - but I have no electrics, no indicators, no breaklights, no display - nothing.

Its now been in the Volvo dealer at Chigwell since the 16th Jan - 2.5 weeks. They are still trying to diagnose the fault. They believed it was the Can-Bus System, but now they are not so sure.... As of today I keep being told that they are still uploading log files to Volvo Tech Support.

How long should I let this go on for? I have a horrible feeling this is going to go on and on...
