Thank you for your response. I live in an area with no certified Volvo mechanics. So, I really appreciate any help.

I have ordered a code reader to keep in my glove box and will replace the CPS. In your opinion, what course of action should I take to take care of the throttle issue? If I continue to reset the code, will that take care of it? I read that the s60's have had issues with the ETM. Should I replace that as well?
